I'm a big fan of videogames, table-top games, game communities, etc., and given that itch.io is a brilliant convergence of indie creators in these sorts of spheres, so now I'm here too! Hope you have a great one.
itch.io exclusive/original stuff that I've played or read or whatever, and absolutely loved.
Stuff that I own on other platforms, but that I'm more glad to own here to better support the creators and to escape DRM. This is almost like a "back-up" category, I guess.
All the games on itch.io that I've looked into and think I'll love, so I've put them here to come back to when I'm in the right mood and have the right amount of time to do them justice!
Books and comics and similar that you can only find on itch.io, or that I'd prefer to have on itch.io to better support the creators and to avoid DRM. Hopefully I'll read them all some day!
TTRPG stuff designed for the fifth edition of the world's greatest roleplaying game, or whatever it is you are legally supposed to refer to it as (or system-neutral stuff I'm most likely to end up using with it).
I don't wanna be shackled to DnD forever, and I've picked up (or just noticed) some other TTRPG's and add-ons on here that might be good to expand into one day.
I'm one of the idiots who ended up with a Quest 2 because VR seems cool but WAY too expensive, and I came to itch.io because I wanna see what real and cool people (as opposed to Facebook itself) can do with the medium.
Personally I find it hard to figure out what artistic medium I enjoy the most, but music is definitely a major contender.
I think the wide variety of stuff itch.io hosts is very cool, you can even get fonts on here!
I'm an aspiring creator, so having this stuff here for me to come to if I ever have the time and discipline to actually MAKE something is very reassuring.
